Titel: Has Haibike given up?
Beitrag von: Mikedodds am 22. November 2020, 12:40
Hi Everyone

I love the Allmtn 10 Flyon and have had it for nearly a year

However I fear that Haibike have given up with the Flyon. We have had no 2021 models, still await the stoploc, have had no new features and no e-connect updates.

I fear that next Haibike will discontinue the Flyon leaving our big investment all alone.

How do others feel?

Mike

Hi Mike,
the specs of the new 2021 models were online only short time, only some components have changed to the previous 2020 models.
Changes for the Allmtn 8.0:
Schaltwerk / Rear derailleur: Shimano Deore XT M8100 Shadow Plus, 12-speed
Schalthebel / Shift lever: Shimano Deore XT M8100, trigger switch
Zahnkranz (hinten) / Sprocket: Shimano HG6100, 10-51 teeth
Kette / Chain: Shimano CN-M6100
Kettenblatt / Chainring: aluminium, Haibike Components The Chainring, 38
Bremshebel / Brake lever: Shimano Deore XT M8100, aluminium
Bremse vorne / Brake front: Shimano Deore XT M8120, 203mm
Bremse hinten / Brake rear: Shimano Deore XT M8120, 203mm
I think all users are awaiting the 1000 Wh battery and updates on the Econnect system to leave the "beta status" (my opinion)
BUT: my Flyon Allmtn 8.0 is running well and otherwise I am very satisfied
kind regards

Hello Mike,

Can't believe Haibike is giving up the Flyon Model's. I'm pretty sure they invested a lot in the development. Additionaly they had delays in the shipment. So the product life cycle will be much longer as the ,,cheaper" models. They will do some little modifications to be every year up to date, but for an complete ,,Facelift" its probably too early.

With the Flyon Model, Haibike has reinvented the E-bikes and many new developments are on board.

I hope they continue with TQ (the motor with 120Nm was invented already 2013). The whole system is much better, I had before a haibike with Bosch CX 2nd Gen. Now I changed to Flyon and it was the right decision.

Kind regards
